From my personal collection - the "Berry Vault!" Out of the hundreds of lots of dolls that I've bought over the last eight years, I kept the mintiest ones for myself. Most smell sweet or like new plastic and they are just so fresh! That's from being stored cool and dry. After I obtained them, they have been in bags within storage bins with desiccants. They're mostly all unplayed with.
I've checked for spots on their heads in the visible areas and their arms but I haven't undressed them or washed them. They're the quality you'd expect from a boxed doll (boxes not included) although many boxed dolls can be in terrible shape due to storage conditions (they'd be unplayed with if the box is sealed but could have a lot of age-related issues).
Cherry Cuddler is from a huge lot that I bought in 2023 from an adult collector's estate. I was shocked when the dolls arrived because they seemed fresh out of boxes and all smelled sweet. Almost all have faded tights and I believe that's from not being able to "breathe" for a long period of time. The trade-off was an otherwise perfectly preserved doll with a nice smell (the scents mixed from being stored together).
There are no flaws to note except faded tights. Hat is attached and she comes with one of the combs shown in the picture.
